About Me
Hello, my name is Jo Moss. Thank you for visiting my page.

In this fast paced world, it's difficult for us to find time for ourselves: my mission is to make this possible, bringing a sense of calm to you at your home or workplace. I want to save you time and to remove the stress of travelling, helping you further with your goals to relax and counteract the effect of physical and / or emotional stress on your body.

Holistic approaches to health have long been an interest of mine, but it was only after a period of time off work due to stress, at the end of my former corporate career, that I retrained. I understand the challenges of long hours and busy schedules, and the toll a challenging and pressured work environment and demanding home life can take on the mind, body and spirit; any one of these experiences should be a trigger for us to find time for ourselves, but so many of us ignore the signals in order to carry on (as I once did). Increased physical and mental demands require us to pay attention to ourselves and listen to our bodies to ensure its needs for not only rest but also nutrition, hydration, exercise and social interaction are met.
I am an ITEC graduate of St Mary's University in Twickenham, where I qualified with Merits in both Holistic and Sports Massage Diplomas; both of which included Anatomy, Physiology and Pathologies modules. I am also a Certified Oncology Massage Therapist, having trained with Susan Findlay at the North London School of Sports Massage, and with Butterfly Touch Therapies. Most recently, I completed Jing's Foundation Course in Advanced Clinical Massage. I am First Aid trained; DBS checked; and a professional member of CHP; and for holistic massage, a professional member of CNHC. All certificates are available on request.

Massage is an important part of my life; being able to help people relax both physically and mentally, is an incredible honour. I also have the privilege of working as a volunteer massage therapist for a cancer charity, for a few hours every week. Caring is central to everything I do; when I'm not working as a massage therapist in the afternoon, I'm a carer.
Keeping my knowledge up to date and learning new massage skills is important to me; I dedicate time to do this, to better the service I offer my clients.
In my spare time, I love to spend time with friends, family and furry friends; I also appreciate time on my own for my own self care, including yoga, meditation and massages. I enjoy getting outdoors, foraging, getting back to nature, listening to music, dancing, walking, working out, Stand-Up-Paddleboarding and very occasionally windsurfing.

Every massage I offer is tailored to the individual, based on the confidential consultation.

Give me a call to find out more, or get in touch here. I look forward to hearing from you and working with you.
